Longer term counselling and psychotherapy work involves us meeting at the same time each week for 50 minutes and continues for as long as we agree. This can last from a few months to a few years. Generally we would move to time limited work after the initial 75 minute single session and then progress to open ended counselling where appropriate.
For some, a single in-depth counselling session is sufficient to help to begin taking steps to address a pressing problem. For others, working for further sessions over a few weeks can help with getting to grips with more complex situations. For time limited work we meet at the same time each week for between 6 and 15 weeks. The sessions last for 50 minutes. The cost is £60 per session.
